Terms and Conditions
The following terms and conditions listed below will apply between you and Katrin Saalfrank for the sale and purchase of the items contained in your basket.
Availability of goods and prices
Goods will be sent to the address provided by you through your Paypal payment. Please note that occasionally fine-art prints ordered may take one to two weeks for preparation for shipping. I will make every effort to advise you (via email) if this is the case.
I will make every attempt to ensure that all the prices on my website are accurate, however discrepancies may occur. If I discover an error in the price of goods already ordered I will inform you as soon as possible and ask you to reconfirm your order at the correct price, whilst also giving you the option to cancel it. If I am unsuccessful in contacting you I will consider the order cancelled. If I cancel your order, you will receive a full refund.
International Shipping
If your delivery address is not within Germany, you may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Any such additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you. I am not responsible for orders lost by foreign postal carriers. You should note that customs policies vary widely from country to country; Katrin Saalfrank advises each customer to contact their local customs office for further information. I have no control over the length of time your order will be held at customs for clearance and suggest that you contact them directly for further information. All packages for overseas delivery with contents and order value are marked accordingly.
You should be aware that cross-border shipments are subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities.
Validity
By ordering a product you accept these terms and conditions. The terms and conditions are subject to change at any time, and it is your responsibility to check these terms and conditions regularly before ordering products in case there are any changes.
Your Undertakings and Warranties
You warrant that the information given via your Paypal payment is complete and accurate.
Acknowledgement of Order
Once you have completed your order you will be sent an e-mail confirmation by Paypal. It will state what the products are on order, the total cost include Post & Package charges, and do not include VAT according to sec. 19 subs. 1 UStG (German VAT Act). Delivery details will be sent to your Paypal email address. You will receive the invoice with your order. If for any reason your order cannot be processed, I will contact you to explain the nature of the difficulty.
Our Contract
No contract for the sale of any product will subsist between you and Katrin Saalfrank until the product(s) ordered have been dispatched. I will send a confirmation email when the goods have been sent. This confirmation e-mail amounts to an acceptance by Katrin Saalfrank of your offer to buy goods.
Data Protection, Privacy Policy
Katrin Saalfrank will never make your personal details available to other companies for marketing purposes. I will keep a record of your address details with the intention of sending your order. Your privacy is very important to me. I do not sell or share your information with outside parties. My policy covers the information you provide directly to me. I reserve the right to update my policy at any time. Information you enter via your Paypal payment may be collected and stored briefly by me so that I may contact you in relation to the nature of your attempted transaction, even if you do not confirm the transaction. This may be used to send operational emails to enquire as to why the purchase was not completed. I will not use this data for any other purpose, I will not store it for longer than necessary and I certainly will not share it with any other company. My aim is simply to provide you with the highest level of service that I can.
Payment
I am only accepting Paypal as payment method. If you wish to make a bank transfer, just contact me through my contact form and I will get in touch with you and tell you how to proceed.
Force Majeure
I have no liability to you for any failure to deliver goods you have ordered or any delay in doing so or for any damage or defect to goods delivered that is caused by any event or circumstance beyond its reasonable control.
Limitation of Liability
Although I take every care to ensure accuracy, I make no warranties as to the accuracy of the information I place on my web page. The extent of my liability for any breach of these terms and conditions shall be limited to the value of the goods ordered by you in the relevant transaction, however nothing in these terms and conditions shall exclude or limit Katrin Saalfrank's liability for death or personal injury as a result of Katrin Saalfrank's negligence.
Invalidity of Terms and Conditions
If for any reason part of these terms and conditions is unenforceable; the validity of the remaining terms and conditions shall not be affected.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with German Law and agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the German courts.
Return policy
Please contact me and wait for a response before returning item(s) to me. Any returns should include a note of your name, order number and a brief explanation of your reason for returning the items. Products can only be returned within 28 days of receipt.
For your protection please ask the post office for a 'proof of postage receipt' when returning your items to me. This proves you have sent the package back to me should the package get lost in transit. Please note the package is your responsibility until it reaches me. I will be unable to refund or resend your order without a proof or postage receipt. You are responsible for all shipping costs involving a return. If you are returning an item for a refund, you will be refunded the cost of the item purchased and the shipping costs you paid. You will not be refunded for the returning shipping costs.
My item has arrived damaged
If your items arrive damaged, I will send you a replacement. I will ask you to return the damaged item to me before I can take further action. Please contact me and I will tell you how to proceed.
Returned by the post - delivery address errors
If your order is returned to me because you did not collect it from the post office or because you made a mistake with your address, I may be able to resend it to you, but you will have to pay the charge to have it resent. I am not responsible for non-delivery if you have entered your address incorrectly.
Can i cancel an order?
If i receive your request to cancel an order before it ships, i will cancel the order. If the order has already shipped, the order cannot be cancelled. At that point you would need to return the item for a refund (refunds only cover the cost of the items purchased, not shipping).

Yes, i do accept orders over the phone; please call +49 40 18173219. To place an order via email, send it to mail@katrinsaalfrank.com to obtain further instructions. For these orders i only accept prepayment.
